Peter Idziak is an associate in the Dallas office of Polunsky Beitel Green. He has represented clients in all areas of residential mortgage lending for more than a decade. Lenders regularly call Mr. Idziak for his advice on regulatory matters and compliance issues concerning all aspects of consumer lending and real property law.
Mr. Idziak provides extensive experience with the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Truth in Lending Act (TILA), Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA), and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA). He is also routinely provides guidance to clients concerning Veterans Administration (VA), Federal Housing Administration (FHA) and Government-Sponsored Enterprise (GSE) requirements.
An honors graduate in Government at Harvard University, Mr. Idziak earned his law degree with honors, at the University of Texas School of Law. While in law school, he was member of the Texas International Law Journal and a director with the Texas Journal of Oil, Gas and Energy Law.
